Our cross country trail systems vary with distance and skill level. You can see more trail information under our trail map page. Enjoy a day through forest and meadows, or cross over a frozen lake. Take in the fresh air and beautiful mountain scenery.

Winter is a great time to get outside at the Syncline Castle Trails. Snowshoeing is a great choice for a fun winter activity because it’s easy to learn, inexpensive, and can be enjoyed by people of all ages, fitness levels, and experience.The air is fresh and crisp and the snow-blanketed landscape so beautiful and quiet.

SCaT has a variety of landscapes and trails which can satisfy any hiker. The trails beckon for all abilities, from short easy walks to classic hikes with access to some scrambles like Barnaby ridge. Enjoy beautiful meadows, creeks and rivers where wildflowers and wildlife abounds. Our temperate climate is ideal for hiking, from spring through autumn.

Saddle Up! All equestrian riders are welcome! There are large parking lots to accommodate trailers as well as hitching posts. Truly enjoy nature and the freedom of riding on your horse through the SCaT Trails. Meet up with other riders and develop new friendships for those that also have a passion to embrace their connection with their horse as well as nature. Adventure to where you normally would never go your self.

In geocaching, you use a GPS (Global Positioning System) receiver to navigate to a "geocache" - a hidden object or natural feature. There are 5 geocaches in the Syncline!
